Thuparamaya is the first pagoda in Sri Lanka. It was made by King Dewanampiyathissa (250-210 B.C.). He was the king who made Buddhism as the main region of Sri Lanka.
Mahinda thera was came to Sri Lanka in his kingdom.and sacred "Sri Maha Bodhiya" given us to by Great king Asoka in his kingdom. Sri Lanka gets a great history because of the Buddhism has arrived.
